The Police School of the Province of Liège organized a demonstration day of police techniques in Amay, bringing together law enforcement from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany as part of euro-regional cooperation.

The event, focused on strengthening trilateral cooperation among the countries of the Meuse-Rhine Euro-region, took place at the training site of the Provincial Institute for Security and Emergency Services Agents. The day was organized in partnership with "NeBeDeAgPol", a cooperation group comprising police chiefs from the region.
Approximately fifty law enforcement members participated, from the Limburg Police of the Netherlands, the National Police of the Netherlands, federal and local police services of the German-speaking Community of Belgium, German police services from the Aachen region, as well as trainers from the Police School of the Province of Liège.
Demonstrations covered several specific techniques: the use of Tasers (Netherlands), identity and vehicle control techniques (Belgium), and intervention techniques using FX munitions (Germany). The objective was to share expertise to improve cross-border collaboration and security.
This initiative aligns with the missions of "NeBeDeAgPol", which aims to plan joint interventions, provide continuous practical training and language mediation, and organize conferences on police cooperation issues.
Thanks to its Police School and training facilities, the Province of Liège has contributed to bringing Belgian, German, and Dutch law enforcement closer to enhance cross-border security.
