On Tuesday, November 3, the pond in Hergenrath (Asteneter Straße) will be emptied as part of a renaturation project.

The initiative aims to restore the banks, which are affected by erosion along the roadside. A fish ladder will also be installed in the pond.
The work is expected to last until Friday, November 6. Minor traffic disruptions may occur because the pump required for emptying the pond will be partially located on the sidewalk.
The municipality thanks residents for their understanding.
