The City of Huy is launching the Maison du Père Noël (Santa Claus House), a new space for festivities, culture, and events, located at the St-Mengold Church on Place Verte, as part of the Plaisirs de Noël 2026 (Christmas Pleasures 2026). The initiative includes a call for toy donations.

The Maison du Père Noël is a new space for festivities, culture, and events set up at the St-Mengold Church, Place Verte, for the occasion of Plaisirs de Noël 2026. Numerous associations, supported by the City, will offer a variety of activities for all ages.
The Maison du Père Noël is appealing for generosity to collect a maximum number of toys. These donations will then be used to organize a toy exchange, with proceeds benefiting underprivileged children.
The toy collection is organized from October 21 to November 25. Donations can be dropped off at the Library, rue Delloye-Matthieu, 1, on Wednesdays from 2 PM to 6 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM. Toys must be clean and in working condition.
As a thank you for each toy donated, donors will receive a voucher to pick up another toy from the collected items, from St-Nicolas on November 28 and 29 at the Maison du Père Noël.
