Students from the 5th and 6th primary grades in Héron recently participated in an educational day at the Préhistomuseum Ramioul, exploring Prehistory through interactive activities.

A few weeks ago, the P5 students embarked on a true journey through time at the Préhistomuseum Ramioul to better understand the lives of our ancestors. They were able to compare the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods, practice mammoth hunting, discover various techniques for making fire, and visit a reconstruction of a Neolithic house.
The P6 students, for their part, discovered that migrations and displacements have been an integral part of human history since Prehistory. Through the museum's exhibits and tour, they understood that movement, adaptation, and encountering other peoples are at the heart of our common origins.
To conclude this wonderful day, each student had the opportunity to get hands-on by creating their own pottery. This outing allowed the students to learn in a different way, by observing, experimenting, and manipulating, thus bringing history lessons to life.
