The Municipality of Villers-le-Bouillet is proceeding with the sale of a VW Golf vehicle, chassis number VWZZZ1JZ1D455037, registered as TR5814 in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. This vehicle was discovered abandoned on September 9, 2025, along the Rue de la Sauvenière (national road 64) in 4530 Villers-le-Bouillet.
As a police measure, the vehicle was towed on September 11, 2025, and has since been stored on municipal grounds. The sale is conducted in accordance with Article 3.58, §3 of the Civil Code. The proceeds from the sale, after deduction of reasonable conservation, storage, and search costs, will be returned to the owner if they request it from the Municipality before October 17, 2030.

The vehicle is sold as is, without any administrative or mechanical warranty, and is clearly not roadworthy. No documents, certificate of conformity, prior technical inspection certificate, or keys are available. The buyer will receive the Collège's decision as the sole title of ownership.
The sale will take place by public auction, with the vehicle awarded to the highest bidder. Unsigned offers or those not reaching the minimum bid of €100.00 will be rejected. The final date for submitting offers is Friday, October 30, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Offers will be valid for 30 days.
Submissions must be made on the form provided in the appendix and sent by email to henri.decodt@villers-le-bouillet.be, referencing the tender number, or submitted in person at the general secretariat on the first floor of the municipal building.

Within three months of the sale date, the buyer must present either a copy of a technical inspection certificate or a destruction certificate from an approved center.
