On Thursday, October 8th, the Château de Waroux hosted the opening of the exhibition 'Connaissance des artistes et artisans d’art ansois'. This event highlights the creativity and talents of the region within an emblematic heritage site of the City of Ans.
Paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, textile creations, and jewelry are on display, offering visitors a glimpse into the diverse artistic universes.
The opening ceremony included the traditional ribbon-cutting by Grégory Philippin, the Mayor of Ans responsible for Culture, following a welcome speech in the castle's Salle d’Armes. Yves Parthoens, the Alderman for Social Affairs, was also present. The mayor congratulated the artists on their creativity and the quality of their work.
The exhibition is open this weekend from 2 PM to 6 PM, concluding on Sunday, October 11th, at 6 PM. It's an opportunity to support local artists and artisans.
