For Halloween, the Grand Curtius museum is hosting a festive and creative afternoon for children, linked to the exhibition on Paganini, 'When Paganini meets Ysaÿe: the devils' violins'. Families are invited to create their own little devil masks before a children's book reading and a musical parade through the halls.
Children, wearing their masks, will parade through the rooms to the rhythm of melodies, encountering the famous violinist nicknamed the 'devil's violinist'. This playful event combines creation, music, and discovery of the artworks.
The program includes a mask workshop from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a musical instrument workshop from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The devils' parade through the exhibition halls is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
The event will take place at the Grand Curtius on Saturday, October 31, 2026, starting at 2:00 PM. The cost is €10 for all activities for one child accompanied by a parent. Online booking is available.
