The city of Eupen has inaugurated a new electric vehicle charging station at the König-Baudouin-Stadion, bringing the total number of municipal charging sites to six.

It is now possible to exercise and charge your electric vehicle simultaneously at the König-Baudouin-Stadion. This new facility brings the urban charging network to six locations.
The electricity is offered at a favorable, moderate rate to make electromobility as accessible as possible for citizens. This is conceived with a circular economy approach.
The photovoltaic system on the hall's roof supplies part of its surplus electricity to the two charging points. With its charging stations, the city contributes to achieving the climate goals agreed upon within the framework of the Energy and Climate Plan of the German-speaking Community for the municipal area and the city administration.
