This construction, covering approximately 7.5 km towards Battice, will start with the gradual installation of traffic separators overnight, from September 28th to October 1st.
On Tuesday, September 29th, and Wednesday, September 30th, traffic towards Aachen will be restricted to the right lane between Eupen/Welkenraedt and Eynatten. Traffic towards Battice will not be affected during this period.
From Thursday, October 1st, until the end of the month, traffic towards Aachen will be maintained only on the right lane, with a speed limit of 70 km/h. All interchanges will remain accessible.
In the direction of Battice, one lane will be maintained and diverted to the opposing carriageway, also with a speed limit of 70 km/h. Access and exit n°39 "Eynatten" will be closed in this direction, with diversions via neighboring interchanges.
The completion of the works is scheduled for the end of October, weather conditions permitting.
