The Local Commission for Rural Development (ÖKLE) in La Calamine has organized a discussion with local youth representatives to integrate their perspectives into the village's development projects.

The ÖKLE, which goes beyond the mere construction of a new village hall in Hergenrath, aims to involve diverse people and perspectives in its initiatives. These projects cover many aspects of village life.
Last Monday, representatives from KLJ Kelmis, the Hergenrath scouts, and youth centers from both localities were invited for an exchange. Many promising ideas emerged from this meeting and will now be pursued.
The organization is calling on young adults who wish to get involved with the ÖKLE and represent the younger generation. Interested individuals are invited to contact Lydia Hilligsmann via email at: lydia.hilligsmann@wfg.be.
