Launched a few months ago by the Alderman's Office for Seniors, led by Nathalie Dubois, the "Café Papote" concept has quickly found its audience. The principle is simple: a friendly meeting, either at the cafeteria of the Sports Hall or the Cultural Center, where participants can share a moment over a snack, chat, and play board games.
Games such as Scrabble, Monopoly, Chess, Checkers, and Trivial Pursuit are offered, and some participants even bring their own games to introduce to others. These meetings allow seniors to meet new people and build social connections.
On October 22nd, over thirty participants gathered at the Cultural Center for this event. The next meeting is scheduled for December.
