Starting October 15, 2026, the Municipality of Lincent will implement a new online platform for managing public domain occupation. This tool aims to simplify procedures for individuals and businesses planning works, moving, or installing containers, cranes, or scaffolding that require temporary occupation of sidewalks, roads, or parking spaces.
The platform will allow users to submit, track, and manage all occupation requests directly from a computer or smartphone, replacing the old paper forms.
To use the service, users must create an account on the portal www.godp.be by selecting their status (Private, Company, or Association) and validating their registration via a confirmation email. Subsequently, requests can be submitted in a few clicks, by selecting the municipality, project type, occupation dates and times, contact details, precise location on an interactive map, and specifying potential nuisances.
Once a file is submitted and approved by the municipal service, an automatic email notification will be sent with the official authorization. The personal space will allow users to check the status of their requests, download authorized documents, or duplicate existing requests.
For works involving temporary occupation of public domain (scaffolding, skips, material storage, machinery, cranes, sidewalk or road occupation, removals), a request must be submitted at least 10 working days before the occupation begins. Special traffic measures, such as speed limits or temporary one-way streets, may also be requested for construction sites or events, subject to analysis by the police services.
A user guide is available for download for further assistance. For any questions, contact 019/63.02.44.
