The work "Scooter dans la ville", created by local artist Serge Nokin, now adorns the wall overlooking the arm of the Hoyoux river on Avenue des Ardennes in Huy. The selection committee chose this piece from a project call, favoring its distinct "urban art" style to contrast with previous installations.
Due to the humid environment, the artwork was produced as a four-color print on 2.50m x 2.50m aluminum Dibond panels, rather than a painted mural, ensuring its longevity in challenging conditions.
To showcase a wider range of Huy's artists, "Scooter dans la ville" will be replaced by a new artwork in three years. Previously, the space featured Luc Genot's piece, "La femme aux oiseaux".
