The winners of the 2026 participatory budget, who will receive a total of €47,500 from the available €48,000, are Maison Zèbre for its public activities (€18,000), a natural and convivial space in Mehagne by Vent de Terre (€13,500), and the 'Ca coule de source' walk with Chaudfontaine se ressource (€16,000).
This year, five projects were in contention: Maison Zèbre's activities, the Vent de terre space, Ça coule de source, Terril Basse-Ransy, and Tambours pour la paix. The regulations stipulated a weighting of 70% for citizen votes and 30% for jury evaluation.
Following the calculation, Maison Zèbre came out on top with a weighted score of 25.54 points, followed by Vent de terre with 24.38 points and Ça coule de source with 20.09 points. Terril Basse-Ransy scored 19.15 points and Tambours pour la paix 10.83 points.
The Commune congratulated the three winners and warmly thanked all project leaders for their involvement. The call for projects for 2027 will be launched in early March.
