The Provincial Health Department has decided to increase its efforts in breast cancer screening by making its Mammobile available to eligible women. This screening vehicle is equipped with a new 'direct radiography' system, promising faster examinations, less painful breast compression, and a 25% reduction in radiation dose. As early detection is widely recognized to improve recovery chances and patient quality of life, this initiative aims to encourage participation.
