Painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramists, illustrators… Wasseiges boasts numerous artistic talents whose creations often remain unknown. To address this, GAL Meuse@Campagnes, with the Municipality as a partner, has created Mozaïka. This digital platform is specifically dedicated to visual artists from the communes of Andenne, Eghezée, Fernelmont, Hannut, and Wasseiges.
The principle of Mozaïka is straightforward: each artist has an online space to present their background, artistic approach, and works. Residents, communes, and event organizers can thus easily discover local talents.
The platform also lists potential venues for exhibitions, such as municipal halls, shops, cafés, farms, and businesses. The aim is to facilitate encounters between creators and those who can showcase their work.
This ambitious project pursues two main objectives: strengthening social connections between artists and residents, and promoting the cultural richness of the territory.
Visual artists are invited to join the platform to share their universe. Registration is done online, and the platform grows collaboratively, with each new artist enriching its content.
The platform is accessible at: https://meusecampagnes.mozaika.be/. For more information, contact Jean-Pierre Trésegnie, project manager at GAL Meuse@Campagnes, at 0470 87 36 37 or via email at jptresegnie@meusecampagnes.be.
