Throughout the month of October, the Municipality of Lincent mobilized for Pink October, the global campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer and support those affected by the disease.

The municipality expressed its solidarity through several actions. The Communal Council showed its support by purchasing pink ribbons and allocating perennial annual subsidies to health-focused associations such as Think Pink, Cap48, and Télévie.
Various services of the Communal Administration, schools, the ATL service, the CPAS, the Communal College, and the Council for Social Action dressed in pink to send a strong message of support, demonstrating a collective mobilization and solidarity.
At the initiative of the Mayor, the Communal Council also organized a 6 km solidarity walk for Pink October. Many citizens participated in this convivial moment.
Pink ribbons are available for purchase at the reception of the Communal Administration year-round.
