The "Bretelles et Patinettes" daycare, managed by the non-profit organization Les Petites Marmottes and situated at 4 rue de l’Économie in Loncin, has been inaugurated. It offers 42 places for children aged 0 to 30 months, divided into three sections.
During the inauguration, the director, Olivier Vanbrabant, and his wife recounted the long and challenging journey to realize this project. They also expressed gratitude to the staff of the first crèche in Beyne-Heusay and the new facility for their daily work.
Grégory Philippin highlighted the importance of this initiative, which complements the municipal daycare's offerings and helps many parents balance work and childcare.
Among the officials present were Nathalie Dubois, Echevin (Alderman) for Early Childhood; Anne-Marie Libon, Echevin for Economic Affairs and President of the ADL; Walther Herben, First Echevin in charge of Public Works; and Yves Parthoens, Echevin for Social Affairs.
The "Bretelles et Patinettes" daycare is open Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, providing additional childcare options for families.
