Starting October 28, mobile cameras will be installed in the cemeteries of Eupen and Kettenis to combat repeated thefts.

Following recurring thefts, the City of Eupen has decided to enhance security in its cemeteries. The measure will take effect on October 28.
In the Kettenis cemetery, a camera will be placed in the Panneshof parking lot, enabling surveillance of the cemetery area. In the Eupen cemetery, cameras will be installed at the two main entrances on Simarstraße and Herbesthalerstraße.
Information signs will be posted at all cemetery entrances to indicate the camera surveillance.
This initiative aims to prevent further thefts and protect the cemetery grounds.
